
This is a progress report that has been made so far in regard to the Breeding Sites Study (“Serial killers to mosquitos: The spatial targeting of larval habitats in rural Uganda using geographic profiling”). The study’s overarching objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of employing a geographic profiling model in comparison to field-based, manual searches to identify Anopheles breeding sites in a highland area of rural western Uganda. This is a multi-phased study being carried out in Bugoye Sub County Kasese district.
